Janger is one of the Balinese social dances that is usually performed by 10-16 young dancers. The Janger dance is classified as a dance of reel so it is more functioned to entertain. Drawn by a number of female dancers (Janger) and male dancers (Kecak) in a simple, cheerful and full of enthusiasm. Janger presents classical Balinese dance moves which tend to be a transfer from the Arja, Mask, Line or Jauk dance movements. Marketers usually use the Arja and Mask dance movements, the Minister also uses the Arja dance movements. As a differentiator from Pejanggeran is the dance movement of the Kecak dancers and the Janger. When dancing this dance, the dancers sing Janger's song in a friendly manner and are accompanied by Gamelan Batel (Tetamburan) and Gender Wayang. Janger Dance is classified into a new type of Balinese dance creation adapted from the routine of Balinese farmers as entertainment when tired of working.
